След като откриха офиса си в БГ, Gartner BG ще направят първото си C-level събитие на 24 септември 2010. Темата е Social Computing, а ето и по-конкретно лекциите:

Leading CIOs have concentrated their social computing efforts on human interactions, and are driving enterprise value by exploiting four styles of social systems. This focus on human behavior represents unfamiliar and challenging territory for most CIOs and IT executives.
Key Issues:
· What are the concepts, challenges and opportunities surrounding social computing in the enterprise?
· Which factors, outcomes and benefits distinguish the four styles of social systems?
· What are the key roles and responsibilities of CIOs and IT leaders in enabling and enriching social computing and social systems?
Session 2: Developing A Roadmap for Social Computing
Our workshop will introduce Gartner’s toolkit for assessing the current state, opportunities and decisions needed to define your social computing objectives and plans. This is an interactive workshop where we will discuss the details of Gartner’s tools, invite you and other participants to share your experiences with social computing, and practice using our tools. Our learning goal is for you to be able to take these tools back to your organization and use them with your IT team and business leaders to develop a social computing roadmap.

· Assess where to start or proceed with social computing in your organization.
· Assess the styles of social systems in place or required by your organization.
· Assess your capabilities and effectiveness in social computing; determine who else must be involved to succeed."
Според мен първата лекция за Real Value на social software ще е доста полезна за тези, които все още не могат да оценят "стойността" на social software for business. Разбира се и всички, които не знаят какво ще получат от social computing.

за начинаещите е първата лекция. За тези, които вече са разбрали за какво иде реч - втората.
А за какво става дума, Лиде? Според мен всичките тези фанфари около social computing-a са малко пресилиени. Това е просто още един начин за съвместна работа. Една допълнителна (крайно необходима) стъпка нагоре в начина, по който комуникираме и ... постигаме резултати днес.
В крайна сметка преди 20на години и над мейла е имало несно бъдеще, преди 10на мобилните телефони бяха също пренебрегвани, а за факса и телекса няма да говорим как са променили бизнеса. Може би социалните мрежи за бизнеса са същия тип вълна като мейла и мобилните телефони (едва ли чак телекс), но това ще го разберем след време.
Става въпрос именно за този нов начин на съвместна работа, който помага на хората не само да работят по-ефективно, но и да живеят по-спокойно и уредено. ... да знаят къде какво да търсят.
А фанфарите са същите както при споменатите - имейл, факс, телефон... и пр., даже мисля, че са доста по-малко, но бялата лястовичка вече е кацнала. Остана да я покажем на другите..., а те да я видят.
